As of Sep 25 I have 25 loads of dirt dug. Each load takes about 12 buckets of dirt. The dirt is used to level sections of the ski trail and to add berms to enable easier and more fun cornering on skis and bikes.

I also added elevation to what is called the "Glide Test Hill."  This is the hill to the East of the shed where we have traditionally tested ski glide. Now I think we'll crest the hill that we usually stop on.

I can't say digging is all that fun. It is hard on your back and you derive no physical benefit. Leveling, however, is quite fun- making close to perfect the trail.
